I was healthy and active during my own pregnancy, but the advice I got was to "keep doing what you're doing." At first, this seemed great, but I didn't realize that there was so much else I needed to know to support my body.
Once I got past the fatigue and nausea in the first trimester, I needed my workouts to challenge me like they did before I was pregnant. I was training to go on a 5 day Backpacking trip at 29 weeks pregnant and craved that sore feeling that meant it was a good workout.
I couldn’t find any pregnancy specific workouts that fit my current athletic background. I was piece-mealing modifications that I spent hours finding on Google, patching together plans, and constantly second-guessing what was safe. I wanted to do what was healthiest for my baby while honoring my identity as a strong, active woman.
That’s why I got more specialized training to know EXACTLY how to support women like you through pregnancy (+ beyond) so you don't have to settle for boring workouts, vague advice, or being told to just "keep doing what you’re doing.”
Now, I'm sharing some of my top tips that will transform your pregnancy experience (things that your OB and Google searches won't tell you). Click below to learn them for yourself!
